There probably aren’t many who will argue with the phrase, “Pie makes everything better.”

During this week and next, you can make things better for the InterFaith Health Clinic and the patients it serves by participating in the second annual Thanksgiving Pie Drop, presented by Home Federal Bank.

For $100, you can gift a loved one with a delicious pie from Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop. That amount will cover two patient visits at the Clinic, plus the full-size pie, plus delivery anywhere in Knox County, just in time for Thanksgiving.

Beth Farrow, director of development and public relations for the Clinic, located in the Fourth & Gill neighborhood in North Knoxville, says, “Pie Drop orders are open now and they close on Nov. 18; delivery is on Nov. 22 which is the Monday before Thanksgiving. We also have an initiative this year called Second Helping — that’s a $25 four-inch pie and that will go to a resident at a neighboring senior citizen facility in our neighborhood. I think that’s really special.”
