SAN ANTONIO

Barry Crossland and Katie Cardwell Crossland are Texas born and Texas raised. They were introduced to Buttermilk Sky Pie through a friend from work who would bring pies back after visiting family in Fort Worth. When these special deliveries quickly grew from one pie to several pies, Barry and Katie knew it was “love at first bite” and that San Antonio needed its OWN pie shop and that they should be the ones to make it happen. They love them some traditional Southern pies!

They are also excited to give back to the community by participating in the Pie it Forward program, which donates proceeds from the flavor of the month to a selected charity.  But most of all, Barry and Katie are excited to be bringing a brand new flavor tradition to the families of SA-town and surrounding areas!

Barry is also so excited to be known as the “San Antonio Pie Guy”. 

When not working, you can find Barry and Katie playing around on their four-wheelers or sitting in a stream enjoying the cool Texas water. Barry and Katie also love spending time with family, James, Kimberly, and Karter (grand Baby), and of course their 5 dogs and 3 cats. Barry’s favorite pie flavor is ALL OF THEM, while Katie loves the key lime pie!
