Colleyville

The first time that Cecily and JP had Buttermilk Sky Pie was in 2021. Upon driving past the shop earlier in the week when leaving a business meeting, JP planned to surprise Cecily after their dinner out that night by stopping to try a few flavors together. As they pulled up, a torrential downpour made this mission for meringue even more challenging…but JP persevered to grab a 4-stack for them to try together. It was “love at first bite”!

Cecily and JP are active, contributing members of their community through their participation in several Grapevine-Colleyville ISD PTA boards and various other civic, business, and leadership initiatives throughout Colleyville and nearby Grapevine, where they live. They have three children – two sons (12 & 10) and one infant daughter. Since buying the pie shop, Cecily and JP can’t help but call their kids “cutie pies” and JP can’t help but call Cecily his “sweetie pie”. The pie puns are endless at the Grafa household.

Cecily and JP Grafa purchased their shop in May 2025. The Grafa family is proud to continue preserving the traditions that has made the Colleyville location a beacon of deliciousness in Northeast Tarrant County since 2016. Cecily and JP are proud to own a business; specifically proud to own a business in a city as welcoming, strong, and community-minded as Colleyville. They believe Colleyville is a hidden gem that is well-positioned for future growth in Dallas-Fort Worth. They look forward to being contributing members of the Colleyville business and social community for many years to come!
