Meet Our Owners

Suzanne was looking for a career change after several years of managing a large retirement community. When she was introduced to Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop, she was so impressed with the product she knew she had found her answer.  On July 2, 2018, Suzanne opened the doors to her shop and introduced our handmade pies to the Greenville community.

Suzanne strongly believes in being involved in the community.  She has supported several local charity fund raisers each year such as Loaves and Fishes, “Taste of the Upstate,” Safe Harbor’s annual fashion show, Habitat for Humanities Volunteer Appreciation Gala, and The Red Shoe Societies annual event to benefit the local Ronald McDonald House. Suzanne’s involvement extends beyond the formal and is evident in the everyday joy she gets from her customers.  The Greenville shop is located between a children’s salon and a toy store so they have an abundance of happy kids in the store on a daily basis.

Owning a pie shop does not leave a lot of free time, but when she does have time, Suzanne is riding her bicycle, enjoying time with family and friends or better yet, cycling WITH family and friends.  She invites you to stop by, introduce yourself and try our pies and cookies.
