Buttermilk Sky Pie will bring homemade pies to Greenville
Press Buttermilk Sky PIeAt first, Suzanne Keim thought pie was kind of ordinary, homey, old-fashioned, really. But then, she realized that is just what makes it so special. Now, Keim, along with business partners, Michele Hay and Ronnie Christopher, are shedding new light on the humble pie in Greenville, with a new all-pie bakery, Buttermilk Sky Pie.
The bakery, located at 2222 Augusta Road, is the 12th location of the Knoxville-based pie concept, and the first in South Carolina.
The shop is less of a dine-in café and more of a bakery, though it will feature some outdoor seating. When it opens later this summer, Buttermilk Sky will offer 8-9 varieties of pie daily, available in 9-inch and 4-inch sizes. And while the shop is a franchise, everything, from crusts to fillings to toppings are made from scratch, in-house.
